Sancan sources it’s material from different parts of Sri Lanka. The spices are bought from Matale district while the cloves are gotten from Kegalle district also. Cinnamon is not only sourced from Matale but from Ambalangoda and Galle districts also. Pepper is bought from Kandy which is one of the majorly pepper cultivating district of Sri Lanka. Most of the coconut in the country is grown in Puttalam, Kurunegala and Gampaha which is known as the coconut triangle. Sancan obtain it’s coconut products from the Kurunegala district and from Kuliyapitiya district also.
